It’s funny how things can completely change in a few minutes, hours, days, and in my case, a week. My last post was a *life update post and here I am writing yet another one. Most of you reading this I can assume are either family or friends. If so, you might know of my recent hospitalization.
I haven’t done one of these in a while, let alone posted consistently, but this is a *life update! Some of you might have noticed that I moved away from sunny South Florida. I moved 1,253 miles away from home to be exact! It’s been a little over a month now and it’s still a whirlwind. The move happened so quickly! I really didn’t have time to think, I was in action mode. In that time span I’ve had a visit from my lovely boyfriend, James, and my best friend Ali! How lucky am I? With that being said, starting a new job, navigating public transportation, and balancing a new life has been somewhat difficult, but exciting nonetheless.
Airbnb, for those of you that don’t know much about it, is a website where you offer your entire home or a room for a price per night like a hotel. Being skeptical for a year or so but very intrigued, I finally decided to test it out last year! I’ve had many friends that had positive experiences and I wanted to see for myself how it worked.
It’s been a solid week and some change now that the 2nd annual Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival has passed us. Hopefully you’ve gotten the grime off your body and the dirt out of your nose. Now that I’ve had some time to process these wonderful few days in the middle of nowhere Florida, I’ll break it down for you below by:
“impressed or nah?”
As music festival season approaches and in honor of me leaving for Okeechobee Music Festival today, these are my top 10 items to bring to any music festival! I have about four years of experience with preparing for music festivals so I can tell you from personal experience this is what I bring. Whether you’re a complete music festival n00b, a seasoned pro, or someone looking for reminders or tips, I hope this helps!
Now that Valentine’s Day is behind us, this Thursday marks my favorite day of love, my anniversary! James and I have been together for 8 years this Thursday, February 23rd 2017. We’ve made it a tradition to go on an adventure every year for our anniversary which I look forward to every year. This year we are visiting the city where we spent our college years together and fell in love, Orlando! We both haven’t been to Orlando for at least a year and haven’t been to Universal Studios for at least three years. When we lived in Orlando Harry Potter World had just opened and we would go ALL the time (because I worked for Universal). However, we have not been since the expansion to Universal Studios and the addition of the Hogwarts Express. We are SO PUMPED! So what does this have to do with TRAVEL? I’M GETTING THERE!
Can’t think of any ideas for Valentine’s day? Are you a last minute person? Is this your first rodeo? Fear not! I have some helpful solutions to your V Day dilemma, and all can be done in under $50.
Sit back and get those Valentine’s Day ideas flowing!
Thinking of applying for a specific credit card? Are you a traveler? Do you eat out often? Do you like the sound of free points towards flights and travel? Yeah, me too! My boyfriend James and I were in your shoes almost five months ago. This is my review on the Chase Sapphire Preferred so far.
Planning a trip to either of these parks? Don’t know what to expect? Feeling lost and confused but with a deep urge to see the mouse? There are many things to consider, such as location, weather, size, and parks.
Let’s get started!
Looking to book a cruise, but don’t know which one or what dates? Let me tell you about the Carnival Fantasy! Remember, not all Carnival ships are created equally. This is a much older ship and that’s something to be taken into account for a frequent cruiser.
