It’s been a solid week and some change now that the 2nd annual Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival has passed us. Hopefully you’ve gotten the grime off your body and the dirt out of your nose. Now that I’ve had some time to process these wonderful few days in the middle of nowhere Florida, I’ll break it down for you below by:
As music festival season approaches and in honor of me leaving for Okeechobee Music Festival today, these are my top 10 items to bring to any music festival! I have about four years of experience with preparing for music festivals so I can tell you from personal experience this is what I bring. Whether you’re a complete music festival n00b, a seasoned pro, or someone looking for reminders or tips, I hope this helps!
Now that Valentine’s Day is behind us, this Thursday marks my favorite day of love, my anniversary! James and I have been together for 8 years this Thursday, February 23rd 2017. We’ve made it a tradition to go on an adventure every year for our anniversary which I look forward to every year. This year we are visiting the city where we spent our college years together and fell in love, Orlando! We both haven’t been to Orlando for at least a year and haven’t been to Universal Studios for at least three years. When we lived in Orlando Harry Potter World had just opened and we would go ALL the time (because I worked for Universal). However, we have not been since the expansion to Universal Studios and the addition of the Hogwarts Express. We are SO PUMPED! So what does this have to do with TRAVEL? I’M GETTING THERE!
Thinking of applying for a specific credit card? Are you a traveler? Do you eat out often? Do you like the sound of free points towards flights and travel? Yeah, me too! My boyfriend James and I were in your shoes almost five months ago. This is my review on the Chase Sapphire Preferred so far.
I hope everyone’s new year is off to a great start! Sorry I’ve been away. Lets call it a personal “hiatus” period. I have major goals for this website to flourish and continue to inspire and help people throughout 2017. However, what I’ve come to learn over time is that your personal well being and health come first before you can help anyone else. I can only hope you will continue to follow my journey and where this leads me. I will be posting on Tuesdays moving forward and stick around because…
Everyone has one whether they’d like to admit it or not. Bucket lists have been around for years and aren’t just for terminally ill patients. My definition of a bucket list are experiences you dream of and would love to accomplish during your lifetime. Who knows how long we have on this planet?! Why not do the things that will help you feel complete? My bucket list consists of a lot of adventurous travel experiences, but that’s just me. Your bucket list could look completely different. This post was inspired from Kristen Sarah’s new series #Bucketlistthis on her YouTube channel Hopscotch the Globe.
I’ve made it to a full month! I’m actually really proud of myself. I haven’t cheated on my diet at all and have not craved meat once. That’s a lie, maybe once or twice. Some of you are probably curious to why I started this at all, and there’s a few reasons why. Keep in mind, all of these reasons are personal, and if you don’t agree that is completely fine. These are solely my feelings and opinions. There is no right or wrong way to live your life, and I do not believe I am better than anyone else that is not vegan.
